Consorzio Mutue's Second Act: Innovative Strategies Being Pursued Across Social Media Platforms, as Demonstrated by Novara

The Novara Mutual Aid Consortium's Fresh Approach: Billboards, Social Media Blitz (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), Key Opinion Leaders, Market Research Studies

Stepping into the modern era, this health assistance institution - established back in 1947 - is revamping its image. 41 billboards dot pharmacies across Novara and Verbano-Cusio-Ossola territories, showcasing the Consortium's potential: collective action, medical expense reimbursements for treatments in Italy and beyond. At a recent budget meeting, President Giuseppe Rosso unveiled the Consortium's transformation, boasting over 9,000 members and set on expanding its reach through new member recruitment and millennial-focused initiatives.

"Discounted Health Packages" for the Youth

With over 80 years of supporting users under its belt, the Consortium now embraces alternative reward systems. They promote "discounted health packages" for young people and corporate welfare for employees. Their billboard campaign reaches 2,428 active users and over 9,000 total views. To attract young families and cater to those seeking affordable and effective health coverage, a new assistance package called the "Discounted Health Package" has been launched. With an annual fee of 500 euros for those under 18 and 650 euros for others, young enrollees receive a 60-80 euro monthly bonus. Employee corporate welfare collaborations with local businesses and industry associations are also underway.

Editorial Endeavors:

In the realm of publishing, the Consortium has long been active, and Rosso recently presented Lidia Ferrari's biography. A prominent local figure who opened the first family planning clinics, Ferrari's story is penned by Anna Cardano.

Collaborations Across the Region

Recent months have seen initiatives to popularize health assistance through cultural and culinary events. At the "Book and Food" event staged at Novara's Sforza Castle, the book "Rice Landscape" by Mario Finotti was presented. The photographic collection features preface by Paola Turchelli, aReading Circle collaborator with whom the Consortium has forged a strong bond. The work, embellished with Roberto Mutti's photographic analysis and Mauro Savoini's graphic design, offers a narrative journey through the agricultural cycles of rice farming and the evolution of tools - from plow to laser. A rice-centric tasting, led by chef Giovanni Ruggieri of "Orto in cucina," and wine pairings from Paolo Rovellotti's vineyards followed.

Embracing the Future:

With 2025 declared the "Year of Rice," the Consortium aims to leverage this opportunity to showcase its commitment to the region and launch its membership drive. With a particular focus on the so-called "Next Generation": as President Rosso reiterates, they aim to include high-potential young professionals and growing families that struggle to afford the essentials of a prosperous future.

Bold Steps Forward:

The Novara Mutual Aid Consortium's endeavor to attract the millennial generation and further expand its reach marks an important turning point for the healthecare industry. Stay tuned for more updates on the Consortium's stride towards the future.

  1. Amidst the Consortium's expansion strategies, they plan to publish an editorial on science and health-and-wellness topics to engage the millennial audience, following Lidia Ferrari's biography that was recently unveiled.
  2. In line with their initiatives to bolster health and wellness, the Novara Consortium is exploring collaborations with science influencers and thought leaders, hoping to bridge the gap between traditional health care and the future of medicine.
