Enhanced Medical Rehabilitation Equipment Installed at Chita Regional Hospital

The Zabaykalsk Regional Clinical Hospital has significantly boosted its medical rehabilitation capabilities, thanks to the acquisition of modern rehabilitation equipment. The new equipment, purchased for over 40 million rubles, is being utilised to aid in the treatment and recovery of patients with various conditions, including musculoskeletal, nervous system, stroke, and war-related injuries.

The hospital's rehabilitation centre is now equipped with an exoskeleton, a treadmill with a weight compensation system, and equipment for biofeedback and electrostimulation. This cutting-edge technology will undoubtedly enhance the hospital's treatment and recovery capabilities, as noted by Olga Kritskaya, head of the hospital's rehabilitation department.

One of the key advantages of the new equipment is the ability to move patients with the help of safety ropes, reducing the need for physical lifting by staff. This not only ensures the safety of patients but also frees up hospital staff to focus on providing the best possible care.

In addition to the current equipment, seventeen more units of physiotherapy and therapeutic physical culture equipment are planned for the hospital. This expansion will further enhance the hospital's rehabilitation capabilities, providing even more opportunities for patients to recover and regain their health.

The acquisition of the new rehabilitation equipment was facilitated by the regional program "Optimized Medical Rehabilitation for Health Recovery". It's worth noting that the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital has also received new rehabilitation equipment, although specific details about the equipment are not available at this time.

Two more devices for pressotherapy and physiotherapy are scheduled to be installed at the rehabilitation centre, further expanding its capabilities. The hospital has reported this news on its official page on "VKontakte".

The Zabaykalsk Regional Clinical Hospital's rehabilitation centre now incorporates science-backed technology such as exoskeletons, treadmills with weight compensation systems, biofeedback equipment, and electrostimulation devices to aid in the recovery of patients with medical-conditions like musculoskeletal, nervous system, stroke, and war-related injuries. As the new equipment also includes safety ropes to move patients, it not only prioritizes patient safety but also allows hospital staff to concentrate on health-and-wellness therapies and treatments for their patients.
