Free 'Mobile & Secure in Old Age' Event in Greifswald on Sept 12, 2025
On Friday, September 12, 2025, an event focused on independent living in old age, 'Mobile & secure in old age', will take place at the Fischmarkt in Greifswald. Organized by ILWiA e.V, the event is free and open to seniors and their relatives from 10 am to 3 pm.
The event aims to be interactive, offering visitors the chance to try out technical assistance systems for home safety, supported by Senior Technology Ambassadors. Personal consultations and information on care, housing, and support offers will be provided.
Health checks, exercise training, rollator courses, nutrition counseling, and assistive device advice will also be available. Network Demenz and Culture will host a Wheel of Fortune quiz with prizes and a dementia simulator. The Senior Council of Greifswald will present and distribute emergency kits.
