From Farmer's Son to Agritech Star: Yogesh Gawande's Sprayer Revolution

Yogesh Gawande, a farmer's son from Maharashtra, has revolutionized agriculture with his innovative sprayer machines. His journey from rural life to successful agritech entrepreneur is inspiring farmers across India and beyond.

Gawande's inspiration struck when his brother was hospitalized after using a manual knapsack sprayer. He created a wheel-based sprayer using discarded pipes and bike wheels, selling his first unit in 2016. His product gained traction after an agri-exhibition, leading to a bulk order of 65 units. Today, Niyo Farmtech's sprayers have reached 22 Indian states and international markets, with over 7,000 units sold. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Gawande adapted his machines for disinfectant spraying, ensuring business continuity. He associated with Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust in 2017 for mentorship and business strategies. Niyo Farmtech posted a turnover of Rs. 2.2 crores in 2022-23 and is expected to cross Rs. 5 crores in the current year.

Yogesh Gawande's innovative sprayer machines are transforming agriculture, making farming safer and more efficient. With international demand and a promising future, Niyo Farmtech is set to become a major player in the agritech industry.
