Hard Rock Atlantic City is set to organize a 'Community Walk' for Suicide Prevention named 'Out of the Darkness' in September.
In a commendable display of community support, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is set to host the 2025 Out of the Darkness Walk on September 6th. This event, organised by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), is part of a nationwide initiative to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, established in 1987, is a voluntary health organization dedicated to saving lives, bringing hope, and supporting those affected by suicide. Mike Llama, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, expressed gratitude for Hard Rock Atlantic City's continued commitment to the foundation's mission.
The 2025 Out of the Darkness Walk will depart from the Atlantic City Boardwalk in front of Hard Rock Atlantic City at 10 a.m., with registration beginning at 9 a.m. The walk is expected to be the largest in New Jersey, with participants sharing personal stories and experiences, fostering a supportive community for those who have lost loved ones to suicide or are struggling with mental health issues.
