Kazakhs Warned of MSMI Status Loss via SMS Alerts
Kazakhs are receiving crucial SMS alerts from the Ministry of Social Affairs, warning them about potential loss of their status in the mandatory social medical insurance (MSMI) system. The notifications, sent from the number 1414, are a joint effort by the Social Security Fund and the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development.
The SMS campaign began in September, targeting individuals who may lose their insured status in October 2025 due to missed payments since June. The Ministry of Social Affairs is spearheading this initiative to ensure citizens are aware of their insurance status and the importance of timely payments.
Citizens can verify their current insured status through various channels, including the Social Security Fund's website and mobile app Qoldau 24/7. Additionally, SaqtandyryBot on Telegram and other mobile apps provide this information. If a Kazakh has missed payments, they have a three-month grace period to resume payments and retain their MSMI status.
The Ministry of Social Affairs, along with the Social Security Fund and the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, is committed to keeping Kazakhs informed about their social medical insurance status. The SMS notifications serve as a timely reminder to ensure citizens remain insured and have access to necessary medical care.
