Mathew Perry's decease: the woman accused of providing lethal ketamine that claimed the life of the "Friends" actor is prepared to confess her guilt in court

Matthew Perry's passing associated with a woman's impending guilty plea for selling ketamine, suspected of causing his death.

In a shocking turn of events, Jasveen Sangha, known as the "Ketamine Queen" in some Hollywood circles, has agreed to plead guilty to multiple federal drug charges in connection with the death of beloved actor Matthew Perry.

Perry, who gained fame for his role in the popular sitcom Friends, was found unconscious in his hot tub in October 2023. An investigation later revealed that he had died from an acute ketamine overdose after receiving at least three shots of ketamine sold by Sangha.

Sangha, a 42-year-old American-British national, is charged with maintaining a drug-involved premises, three counts of distribution of ketamine, and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death or serious bodily injury. She has been in federal custody since her arrest in August 2024, nearly a year after Perry's death.

The guilty plea by Sangha may result in some charges being dropped by prosecutors, but she still faces up to 65 years in prison under the plea deal. The announcement of her plea was made by the U.S. Department of Justice on August 18.

The investigation into Perry's death led to multiple arrests and guilty pleas from other individuals involved, including medical professionals who distributed the drug. Perry's relapse into ketamine addiction in the fall of 2023 was a significant factor in the case.

Sangha's guilty plea is not expected to affect the charge of "distribution of ketamine resulting in death or serious bodily injury." She is set to plead guilty to her charges in the coming weeks.

Ketamine, a legal anesthetic, can be used for stimulating or euphoric purposes, leading to addiction. Perry was undergoing ketamine therapy for depression at the time of his death, a choice that tragically led to his demise.

Perry's death was a shock to Friends fans and sparked an outpouring of tributes in Hollywood. His death serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of seeking proper treatment.
