The Munich Week for Mental Health and its accompanying Digital Fair are set to take place in Munich, both on-site and online, from early October. This citywide event, organised by the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Health Department of the Bavarian State Capital Munich, among others, aims to raise awareness about mental health and provide practical resources for promoting mental well-being.

The Munich Week for Mental Health offers a wide range of topics, including healthy working conditions, resources and resilience in the workplace, stress management, bullying, psychological strain, yoga and mindfulness, job application processes, and first aid for mental health. These sessions are designed to be low-threshold and interactive, catering to both professionals and the general public.

The Digital Fair serves as a platform for Munich's support services to present themselves virtually, making the event accessible beyond the Week for Mental Health. This digital component of the event provides an opportunity for individuals who may not be able to attend in person to engage with the resources and sessions offered.

Various clinics, counseling centres, day care facilities, institutions, and initiatives participate in the Munich Week for Mental Health, ensuring a diverse and comprehensive approach to mental health promotion. The event is suitable for those affected by mental health issues, relatives, managers, people in vocational rehabilitation, and interested individuals without prior knowledge.

The program includes expert lectures, panel discussions, workshops, interactive activities, cultural offerings, film screenings, digital events, and open house days. The Munich Alliance against Depression e.V. is another organizer contributing to the event's success.

By focusing on future-oriented, sustainable professional development in mental health, the Munich Week for Mental Health seeks to deliver scientifically based impulses and sessions to promote mental well-being and develop health-promoting strategies. This event is a testament to Munich's commitment to supporting the mental health of its residents and beyond.
