Nestlé teams up with Pharmacity for joint scientific ventures in nutrition goods
In an exciting development, Nestlé Health Science and Pharmacity have announced a partnership aimed at bringing scientific and specialized nutrition solutions to Vietnamese consumers. This collaboration, officially announced on August 18, 2020, marks a significant step forward in the quest to make scientifically backed products available to consumers of all ages.
Under the agreement, Pharmacity will become a distribution channel for Nestlé Health Science's products, which are imported from Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Singapore. The company, with a rich 160-year history and 30 years of experience in Vietnam, brings extensive expertise in scientific nutrition to the table.
Products to be distributed include Nutren Junior, Boost Optimum, Peptamen, and Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides. Notably, Pharmacity will be the exclusive distributor of Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides in Vietnam.
Nestlé Health Science is committed to offering authentic, internationally standardized nutrition products. The partnership focuses on providing consumers with access to these products, ensuring they can make informed decisions about their health.
To support this initiative, Nestlé Health Science will work with Pharmacity to hold nutrition workshops for pharmacists, covering different groups. These workshops aim to provide in-depth consultations and empower pharmacists to deliver international, standardized nutritional products effectively.
Pharmacity, operating over 1,000 stores nationwide in Vietnam, offers a wide range of health products and services. This partnership is expected to strengthen Pharmacity's position as a trusted provider of health solutions in Vietnam.
In addition to this partnership, Nestlé Vietnam has also been actively involved in other initiatives. For instance, they have implemented activities as part of NESTGEN 2025 to empower young people to gain access to knowledge, develop essential skills, and thrive towards a sustainable future.
Moreover, Nestlé Vietnam has partnered with VNVC, a vaccination chain, to improve nutrition health knowledge for the community in Vietnam. This partnership is part of Nestlé Group's commitment to promoting health and wellness in the country.
