Cornelia Rebhan, a seasoned social worker with a focus on dementia care, has taken over as the new leader of Cafe Malta in Wolfratshausen, Germany. With a passion for working with people, Rebhan brings a compassionate and dedicated approach to the specialized meeting place designed to support individuals with early dementia.

Located in Wolfratshausen, Cafe Malta offers a warm and inclusive atmosphere where those affected by early-stage dementia can socialize, engage in meaningful activities, and receive emotional support. The services at Cafe Malta are tailored to cognitive abilities and include social gatherings, therapeutic exercises, memory stimulation programs, counseling, and a stigma-free setting for sharing experiences.

Under Rebhan's leadership, Cafe Malta aims to promote dignity, engagement, and quality of life for attendees, helping them maintain social connections and improve their well-being despite the challenges of early dementia. Rebhan is usually supported by one to two volunteers, and six people are regularly registered at the cafe.

Rebhan understands that dementia can affect anyone and is committed to offering care for those in need. Cafe Malta offers care once a week, on Tuesdays from 2 to 5 pm. The weekly fee of 30 euros is covered by health insurance companies if a care level is present.
