Oracle Endorses White House's Blueprint for Seamless Health Data Exchange
Oracle Supports White House's Vision for Healthcare Data Interoperability
Oracle Corporation, the registered owner of trademarks such as Oracle, Java, MySQL, and NetSuite, has pledged its support for the White House's vision for healthcare data interoperability. The press release, issued by Oracle Corporation, was authored by Cision PR Newswire and can be viewed here.
Oracle Health, a division of Oracle Corporation, is collaborating with public and private sector leaders to achieve an open medical records system. This system aims to improve patient care, enhance provider experiences, and drive down the cost of care delivery. By using open standards and collaborating across the industry to enable secure data sharing, Oracle Health hopes to help health systems reduce administrative waste and enhance safety for patients.
Mike Sicilia, an Oracle executive, stated that Oracle Health is proud to work with the Trump administration to address the lack of data interoperability. He also mentioned that the company is committed to working with the federal government and industry leaders in this endeavour. Seema Verma, another Oracle executive, expressed her belief that this commitment is a win for patients, providers, industry competition, and taxpayers.
Oracle Health delivers AI-powered cloud technology to enable interoperable data exchange and longitudinal health records. This technology helps practitioners to easily coordinate care across health systems, make informed decisions, and operate more efficiently to reduce costs.
It's worth noting that NetSuite, a subsidiary of Oracle Corporation, was the first cloud company, ushering in the new era of cloud computing. Oracle Corporation's stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol ORCL.
In addition to Oracle, the organizations collaborating with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to accelerate the speed and simplicity of health data reconciliation include the Department of Health and Human Services and various health technology companies and healthcare providers. Oracle has pledged its support for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' Digital Health Ecosystem and Interoperability Framework.
The goal is to deliver a more interoperable, secure, AI-enabled healthcare system that improves patient care, enhances provider experiences, and drives down the cost of care delivery. By achieving this goal, Oracle hopes to contribute significantly to the safety and well-being of patients.
