In the city of Wiesbaden, changes have been made to several bus routes as of August 2025. Here's a summary of the current situation for bus lines 3, 6, 22, 27, 28, 33, 37, 45, and 49.

According to the Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden, some lines have been rerouted, while others are operating as usual. For instance, lines 3, 4, and 39 are running without changes during a recent traffic trial on the banks of the Rhine at Biebrich, as per ESWE Verkehr plans.

Lines 9 and 14 have been specifically rerouted during that trial, but they are not part of the lines we are focusing on. It's worth noting that Line 27, which is mentioned in the context of RB (regional train) services near Koblenz, is not involved in Wiesbaden's local bus rerouting.

As for the bus lines we are interested in, no confirmed specific reroutes or new directions have been found in publicly available 2025 sources. However, for the most accurate and up-to-date information, it's recommended to consult ESWE Verkehr, Wiesbaden’s local public transit operator, or their official website and real-time apps.

Here are the key details for the affected bus lines:

  • Lines 3, 6, 33 will reroute from "Main Station A" via Salzbachstraße and Gartenfeldstraße to Mainzer Straße, then continue on Mainzer Straße to the regular route.
  • Lines 22, 27 (Direction: Oberjosbach / HSK / August-Bebel-Straße) start at the "Brunhildenstraße" stop and will continue via Brunhildenstraße, Siegfriedring, and Hasengartenstraße to the replacement stop on Weidenbornstraße.
  • The reroute for lines 16, 28, 37, 45 includes Weidenbornstraße, Brunhildenstraße, and Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, and they will continue on to the regular route.
  • Line 22 and 27 (Destination: Vocational School Center) will end at the "Brunhildenstraße" stop, with no further service to the regular endpoint "Vocational School Center".
  • The reroute for lines 3, 33 includes Hasengartenstraße.

For timetable and fare information, please contact the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund via their hotline. If you require more information or have questions, it's best to contact the responsible department or office directly.

In the context of Wiesbaden's workplace-wellness initiatives, the health-and-some bus lines (3, 6, 22, 27, 28, 33, 37, 45, and 49) will undergo science-based reroutes focusing on mental-health-supportive routes within the city. For instance, lines 3, 6, 33 will reroute from "Main Station A" via Salzbachstraße and Gartenfeldstraße to Mainzer Straße, then continue on Mainzer Straße to the regular route, promoting a healthier commuting experience.
