Recognized as one of the top engineer-ecologists in Russia, hailing from Yakhtskenergo.

RusHydro, a key player in the Industrial Competence Center (ICC) for the "Electric Power Industry," recently hosted an internal competition among its ecologists, the Corporate Championship of Professional Mastery. The event, which took place from July 13 to 17 in Moscow, provided a platform for knowledge sharing, skill improvement, and networking among its participants.

A total of 39 engineer-ecologists from the entire RusHydro Group participated in the event, including 6 employees from PJSC "Yakutskenergo" and its subsidiaries. The competition was not limited to a specific region or location within Russia, allowing ecologists from different parts of the country to come together and showcase their professional skills and knowledge.

The Corporate Championship of Professional Mastery was not a yearly event, but rather a unique opportunity for RusHydro's ecologists to demonstrate their expertise. The competition included modules with various tasks for engineers, such as checking environmental protection documentation for compliance with legislative requirements, identifying sources of atmospheric emissions, and calculating the hazard class of waste.

Faína Davydova, an engineer for Environmental Protection at PTO Yakutsk TEC PJSC "Yakutskenergo" (part of RusHydro Group), impressed the judges with her performance throughout the competition. She scored a total of 544 points, placing second overall. Despite not winning the grand prize, Faína's mastery in each stage of the competition earned her high praise.

The grand prize, the prize from the Corporate University of Hydroenergy, was awarded to Anna Popova, from AO "Teploenergoservice" - a subsidiary of "Yakutskenergo." Anna was chosen by the audience as the recipient of the prize, reflecting the collaborative and engaging nature of the event.

The Corporate Championship of Professional Mastery among ecologists of the RusHydro Group is not open to external participants, but it serves as a testament to the company's commitment to environmental stewardship and the ongoing development of its employees' skills. As companies like RusHydro continue to engage in efforts to improve environmental practices, such events could become more frequent and inclusive, potentially involving advanced technologies, broader participation, or collaboration with other companies.

In the context of RusHydro's commitment to environmental stewardship and workplace wellness, the Corporate Championship of Professional Mastery for ecologists serves as a showcase for their expertise in fields such as science and health-and-wellness, specifically relating to environmental protection and conservation. This event, designed for internal competition among its employees, could potentially expand to involve advanced technologies, broader participation, or collaborations with other companies, fostering environmental-science advancements in the workplace-wellness sector.
