This strategic event aimed to empower Saudi teams to develop innovative digital health solutions over a three-month period.

The challenge was open to specialized teams from various regions across Saudi Arabia. Participants received intensive workshops and mentoring to support their projects, with stages including registration, business model development, training camps, and technical support.

The finale saw teams presenting prototypes featuring data analysis tools, interactive interfaces, and systems for extracting medical information. Among the winners were Premedica, Clinome, and Zofa Lab, who shared prizes worth SAR 450,000 from MVP Lab / NTDP. Special awards such as the "Generative AI Award" were presented by partners like King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC).

The HealthTech Challenge is part of broader efforts by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and its CODE center to grow the national digital health innovation ecosystem and develop local talent in line with the Kingdom’s Vision for digital transformation in healthcare.
