Seniors' Assembly in Landshut: Mindful Eating and Daily Exercise Encouraged

The recent senior delegates' assembly in Landshut was a resounding success, with a well-attended lecture by Adelborg Angerer, a Diplom-Oecotrophologin, on 'Enjoy life consciously: Eat mindfully, move daily'. The event was moderated by Carolin Voelkner, the municipal senior and disability commissioner, and chaired by Dr. Reinhard Eder, the current chairman of the Seniors' Council in Landshut.

Angerer's lecture covered a range of topics, including the food pyramid, exercise recommendations, and practical ways to integrate healthy eating into daily life. Delegates showed keen interest, as evident from the numerous questions they asked. The assembly also included reports from Franz Woelfl, Chairman of the senior council, on various activities such as working sessions, senior city talks, excursions, and the council's stand at an environmental fair.

The senior delegates' assembly provided a wealth of information and engagement opportunities for seniors in Landshut. The lecture by Adelborg Angerer was particularly insightful, encouraging mindful eating and regular exercise. The event was well-organised, with comprehensive reports from the senior council and active participation from the senior delegates.
