Thermal baths and saunas remain closed despite initial plans

The Aukammtal Thermal Bath, a popular destination for relaxation and wellness in Wiesbaden, has announced that its planned reopening on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, has been postponed indefinitely. This decision comes as a result of unforeseen construction delays and necessary follow-up work during the ongoing renovation.

The renovation work, which began some time ago, has unfortunately been causing noise disturbances that make it impossible to operate the bathing and sauna areas regularly. The Aukammtal Thermal Bath apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to its patrons.

Despite the delay, the management assures that these measures are being taken to ensure the long-term quality, safety, and functionality of the thermal bath. The new opening date for the bathing and sauna areas will be announced in due course.

The State Capital Wiesbaden's Press Office issued this press release. The Aukammtal Thermal Bath thanks its patrons for their understanding and patience during this time. It looks forward to welcoming them back as soon as the renovation work is complete.
