Get ready for an exciting month ahead as our town is buzzing with a variety of events! Here's a rundown of the activities that you won't want to miss.

September

  1. On September 19, there are plenty of opportunities for rehabilitation exercises. Reha-Sport Wirbelsäulengymnastik, Reha-Sport Osteoporosegymnastik, and Reha-Wassergymnastik will be held at the Bürgerzentrum and Bulmare. The Wassergymnastik session at Bulmare is scheduled for 4:15 PM, but the leader's details are yet to be confirmed.
  2. On the same day, don't forget to register your child for the Harvest Thanksgiving service at St. Josef parish center, which will take place at 3 PM on September 21. Registration is required by September 15.
  3. The Harvest Thanksgiving service in Christuskirche on September 21 is scheduled for 11 AM, and it's especially designed for pre-kindergarten children and their families.

October

  1. Kick off October with a heart-healthy cooking evening at St. Josef parish center on October 7. The focus will be on heart-healthy cooking using fish. Registration is required by September 30, and you can contact Helena Karl at (09471) 7987 or Monika Kurz at (09471) 7101 for registration.
  2. On October 14, a science fair will be held at the town library, showcasing projects from local students on various topics, including physics, chemistry, and biology. The fair will also feature a Q&A session with local scientists and researchers. Registration for the science fair can be done online.
  3. On October 21, join the charity walk at the city park. This 5K walk encourages participants to walk with their pets and aims to raise funds for homeless shelters. Registration starts at 8 AM, and the walk begins at 9 AM. Post-walk activities include a picnic and live music performances. The registration fee is $20 per person, and children under 12 can participate for free.

November

  1. On November 5, a community art exhibition will open at the city museum. The exhibition, featuring works by local artists, will run until December 10.
