UK Parliament Seeks Insights on Life Sciences Sector's Global Competitiveness
The House of Commons Science, Innovation and Technology Committee has launched a call for evidence, seeking insights into the competitiveness of the UK's life sciences sector. The committee is particularly interested in understanding barriers to MedTech innovation and adoption.
Submissions are invited by 11.59pm on Monday 13th October. The committee aims to gather evidence on various aspects of the sector, including its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. This information will help inform the committee's ongoing inquiry into the competitiveness of the UK's life sciences sector.
It's worth noting that unlike a previous call for evidence in October 2020, which focused on the international competitiveness of the food technology sector, this call is specifically targeted at the life sciences sector.
The House of Commons Science, Innovation and Technology Committee welcomes written evidence from academics, industry professionals, and other stakeholders. The deadline for submission is 11.59pm on Monday 13th October. This evidence will contribute to the committee's understanding of the UK's life sciences sector and its competitiveness on a global scale.
