Urgent Child-Related Crises
On Monday, August 18, from 5 PM to 9 PM, Anke Thiede will be conducting a Children's Emergency First Aid Course in Ochsenfeld. This course is designed for parents, grandparents, babysitters, and anyone who regularly interacts with children.
The course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to handle emergencies involving children. Key topics covered include basic first aid principles, assessing and responding to emergencies, choking, bleeding, burns, fractures, allergic reactions, CPR techniques adapted for infants and children, managing seizures and unconsciousness, and when and how to call for professional medical help.
Moreover, the course will delve into life-saving measures beyond recognising critical situations. Participants can expect to learn practical skills that could potentially save a child's life in an emergency.
