Yakutsk Unites to Combat Alcoholism with New Plan
Yakutsk has taken a significant step towards combating alcoholism. A meeting held on October 3 brought together key figures to discuss and plan strategies for reducing alcohol consumption. The author of the draft plan is journalist Natalya Dadykina.
The meeting was attended by Yakutsk Mayor Yevgeny Grigoryev, who stressed the importance of decreasing alcohol consumption and promoting a healthier lifestyle. Also present were Matvey Lytkin, the Chairman of the Board of 'Zdrava', and Petr Gubochkin, a psychologist who presented a letter of thanks from State Duma Deputy Nikolai Burlyaev. Burlyaev, in turn, called for a united front against alcohol, drug, and tobacco consumption.
The gathering aimed to develop a future plan for reducing alcohol consumption in Yakutsk. The city's mayor emphasized the need for such a plan, highlighting the benefits of a healthier, more sober population.
